Knotts Berry Farm, Anaheim (Continued from USA Trip Part One - What Happened in Vegas) So after about a four hour journey we made it to our next hotel which was at Knotts Berry Farm in Anaheim, California. Knotts Berry Farm is actually a theme park, but because we had such a full itinerary already we just didn’t have time to visit! We stayed at the hotel mainly because it was so close to Disneyland and not too far away from everything else we wanted to do (and reasonably priced!). The hotel was very nice and as it was approaching Halloween they had members of staff dressed up in scary costumes and if you weren’t paying attention they would sneak up on you and give you a scare which was hilarious! After we checked in we headed straight out to the pool and because it was in the evening we had it to ourselves which was fab! Since I mentioned in the description that Shaun and I are engaged, I thought I would make my first post a bit personal and tell the story of how it happened. (Sick buckets at the ready!) It happened back in December 2017, the 2nd to be exact. The day before, we had travelled to Paris because we were going to Disneyland for the weekend. We almost didn't make it because we were stuck in a traffic jam for hours but thankfully it was cleared and we made our flight in time! I was really looking forward to a long weekend away, and it was just going to be the two of us.
